IFA acquired Aviometa – IFA Group strengthens competences

IFA acquired Aviometa, maintenance and technicians training company.
The group IFA acquired Aviometa on August 29, a company with hangar and at the Cascais Municipal Aerodrome.
With nearly 40 years of activity, Aviometa is a company with extensive experience in aircraft maintenance and aircraft mechanics training, with EASA Part 147 and EASA Part 145 certifications for aircraft maintenance.
With this acquisition, IFA group intends to extend the range of services it provides within the aviation industry, which already includes the IFA Aviation Training Center (EASA ATO) which covers pilot and cabin crew training, IFA – Maintenance and (EASA Part M Subpart G), which develops work in the area of airworthiness control and now, Aviometa (EASA Part 145) performing maintenance work on aircraft. In addition to this universe there is also the airline Lease-Fly Aviation Services S.A. which operates airplanes of the ATR manufacturer in regional air transport (regular and charter) and Cessna Citation in the executive aviation segment.
