OBJECTIVES

The Airbus A320 Type Rating Course consists of training pilots to acquire all the knowledge necessary to understand the basic functions of airplane systems, use of the components of each system, training of operating procedures and use of Checklists and instruments. Students are expected to be proficient in all emergency maneuvers, operational aspects and work in a multi-pilot environment.

MODULES

Approximately 3 weeks

a) Theoretical Instruction – 52h
b) Cockpit Procedure Training – 30h
c) Written Tests: 4h

11 days
a)  Simulator Instruction – 36h – 9 sessions
b) Skill Test: 4h – 1 session

Duration: 1/2 day

REQUIREMENTS

The applicant shall hold a Commercial pilot certificate with a ATPL Frozen, Multi-Engine, Instrument Rating and Multi-Crew Cooperation.
