OBJECTIVES

The Specified Navigation Prcedures course (SNP), is designed to give students the knowledge they need to be able to operate within well-defined airspace, meeting their specific requirements.

Upon completion of the course, participants should be able to comply with Eurocontrol air traffic control instructions and guidelines for safe and accurate operation in airspace with specific rules.

Initial – 14h
Recurrent – 7h

  • Navigation Procedures
  • Operation with Required Navigation Procedure (RNP)
  • Introduction to Area Navigation and Basic Area Navigation (RNAV, BRNAV)
  • MNPS – Minimum navigation performance Specification
  • Construction of the OTS system – Organize Track System
  • Communication procedures and location report
  • Implementation of Reduced Vertical Separation Minima (RVSM)
  • Traffic Control clearences
  • RVSM in European airspace, FIR / UIRs
  • Separation of aircraft
  • Specific procedures for flight contingencies
  • Pacific Ocean airspace

PRE-REQUISITES

Be qualified as pilot in commercial aircraft.
